AI must not flood public life with deepfakes, disinformation, synthetic authorship, or deceptive narratives that obscure evidence-based information and democratic participation.
Rationale
Supported by OHCHR/B-Tech concerns that AI-generated content can crowd out evidence-based information and that false convincing content, including deepfakes, can undermine participation in public affairs.
